Camille's Reflection

    ICP Math is a college prep class with all the math combined in one. Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and other courses of math are all together. The reason that ICP math is better is because you get your math all in one. But in ICP math you can work in groups and I feel that when working in groups, you can learn the work faster, and understand it better because you have more than one brain working with you. Groups do not slow me down, it actually helps me work faster and get the work done quicker because you can compare your answers with your group members and explain to each other how you got your answer and if they're correct or not.
    Working in the book and figuring things out and understanding the math have made me understand the math better, but remembering it is challenging especially when there's a quiz because you know the work when you do it in class but when there's a quiz you totally blank out. Some of the work assigned for ICP College Prep Math is sometimes frustrating when you first start a new chapter because you have to adapt to what you know and what you are learning.
    I feel as if Core-Plus has kept me in the College Prep math class, because I like to work in groups. In groups you can discuss the math and get a better understanding of it. While you are in groups you can have a debate on what the answer is and how you can explain it.
    The reason that I took a fourth year in math is because my mother would not let me drop it because she thought that I would miss something that I need to learn, and plus I am going to attend college in August and I am taking up Accounting and taking classes to be a Probation Officer, and I need all the math that I can get if I am going to be dealing with someone's money.
    I feel as if I have received the proper math education at WHS, because the teachers are always on your case about your work and when you have assigned work and can't understand it they will take their time just to help you and to make you understand and pass and get the grade that you deserve.
