This is all about FIRST robotics and why they do what they do. First let's see what they do. Well "FIRST" does their best to inspire young people to pursue a career in science and technology. Their company has been doing this since 1992. Dean Kamen the founder of FIRST Robotics mission is to "transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology is celebrated." Where young people are inspired to become science and technology heroes. In 1992 the FIRST Robotics championship was held in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. There was over 150,000 students particapating in an activity that would one day change the way people think about technology.

FIRST Robotics helped influence young people to design, build, and program robots by applying real world math and science concepts and many more skills. Steve Roth a teacher, robotics advisor at Cole Middle School stated, " You know when they get it; you see it on their faces."

After seeing the excitement at the Kickoff, I must say that young people aren't "forced" to do this, but they love to do this. The reasons why I believe this people are excited is because of completing one main goal, one true inspiration, and in like most sports, young people would love to see that all their hard work have not been wasted by saying that they are the FIRST Robotics Champions. That feeling is the greatest feeling any person in the world could ever feel, knowing that out of over 2000 they are the best, is the jist of Robotics. Thanks to FIRST Robotics for making all of this possible.
